Brenda Jane Carter

She served in the U.S. Army for over six years, which took her all the to Giessen Germany where she was stationed for a few years. Brenda was also a nurse at the Fayetteville VA Hospital for over 20 years and retired in September with 30 years of service as a federal employee . She was a fan of all of her hometown teams to include the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Genevieve Watkins and her husband, James Carter.

Left to cherish her memories are two sons, Jason Carter, wife Jennifer, Marshal Carter, wife, Desiree, step-daughter, Catina, sister, Freda, late husband, Alex, and brother, George, wife, Connie. Six grandchildren, Kenny, Cordell, wife, Kamica, Gina, Hayley, Jameson, and baby Carter. Two great grandchildren, Elijah, and Jada. Nieces and Nephews, Heidi, husband, Jason, Lexann, Bridget, husband, Coby and the late George. Great nieces and nephews, Genevieve, Jaxson, Jeffrey, Nathan and the late Brianna. She also leaves behind many cherished friends and extended family members.

She will be deeply missed by her two fur babies, Amy Lou and Baby Bo , and her two grand dogs Shorty and Roo.
