Fayetteville - MSG Charles William Smalls, Jr., (ret) 78, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 with his family at his side.
Charles was born in Wilkes County, NC, February 22, 1939, to the late Charles William Sr. and Octavia Jarvis Smalls. He retired from the US Army with 26 years of service including two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Funeral services will be at Reeves Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 am with full military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Sunee Smalls; son William "Joe" Smalls; grandchildren, Charles A. Smalls, Elisabeth Renee Smalls and Isabella Sunee Smalls.
