I will also remember Connie, as long as God keeps me in my right mind. Connie and I worked together with Southeastern Hosp in Lumberton, NC for a number of yrs. We worked side by side at AJ Robinson Medical Clinic on MLK Jr. Dr. This was our first time meeting and became friends for life. 

We loved to laugh together Connie, Helen and myself. We called ourselves the perfect team. Because it seemed as if we had all things in common, except for one thing, Connie's love for her 🐕

Connie was a morally good compassionate person to everyone. Working at the clinic we had to answer calls. Some thought Connie took up too much time on the phone with the patients.  And she probably did, but she would take time to actively listen to the patients and their concerns, even if it didn't relate to the clinic. She made their day. When they called the office, they would ask to speak to Ms. Connie, because she made things happen for them.

She always used her lunch time to run home and make sure her mom was ok and her dogs were ok. Connie always tired to take care of everyone's needs but never her own, which lead into serious medical complications. 

Connie was a person that loved hard. It was evident that, that type of love was never given back to her after her dad died. She spoke often of him, and wanting to move back to the mountains from whence she came. She often spoke of the "good old days" there.

She loved her children, and she believed they loved her too. She would smile when she spoke of her grandson. She often said, she wished she could have been more like her daughter, strong, a go getter, tenacious and adventurous. She wanted to see her son with a good woman. Someone that will help him and not hurt him and not pull him down, but help raise him up.

My pray is that before Connie crossed over, that she met Jesus. I pray that's where she is, so she can finally experience the love and peace that she always desired to feel.

I love you so much Aunt Connie and will miss you terribly. You were always there for me even if we were in different states. Thank you for loving me as much as i loved you.
