What a lovely, lovely pictorial!! I want everyone to know that I thought the world of David and Barbara, for raising a daughter like Colleen Margaret.

Of course, I especially loved the pictures showing David with our grandson, Benedict.

It was funny for me to see Dave before the gray hair! But he always had a mustache! And the part of making his own cheesy grits for his own retirement party, I can believe that!!!

I offered a Mass today for David Ivey at our local chapel, called Baycrest Chapel and Father Henry announced his name. Forrest and Colleen attended Mass there one time before they were married.

I was fortunate to have made David's acquaintance on Memorial weekend 2 years ago when his daughter, Colleen, married my nephew, Forrest. He left me with a wonderful impression being kind to share his common experience with GIS with my husband. Also, he prepared the grand breakfast buffet the day after the wedding for both families - which I understand was a tradition for Colleen growing up. I want to thank him for the time and energy he put into raising kind and loving children and grandchildren.

I worked with David at the Cumberland Tax Administration office for many years. David was a very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. May God put an extra loving arm around each of you.
