In addition to his parents David was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Elsie Lilian May Morley McCaskill and several siblings.
David served in the US Air Force for 26 years before retiring.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Harvest Baptist Church with Rev. Norwood Tadlock officiating. Interment will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with the rendering of military honors.
Among those morning his passing are son, Wayne McCaskill and wife Carla; brother Kenneth McCaskill; sisters Nancy Whaley and JoAnn Cline; 2 grandchildren, Alan McCaskill and wife Brandi and Skyler Mode and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Atticus, Radley, and Kingston.
