Donald Wayne Easter Jr.

Retired US Air Force TSgt Donald Wayne Easter, Jr., 55, of 191 Railroad St in Parkton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in his home. He was carried to Heaven by the Angels of the Lord, while surrounded by loving family members.

A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, in the chapel of Handley’s, and burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Morrisvale, WV.

Mr. Easter is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Kay Clark-Easter. Other family members include: daughter Malina Koockogey, grandsons Ryan and Dylan Koockogey; mother Joyce Sue Easter-Harless, sister Marsha Adkins and sister Linda Scott (Larry) all of Morrisvale; sister Pandora Williams (Joey) of Ohio, and brother Michael of Arizona.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the prayers and support provided by members of the Golfview Baptist Church, his nurse, June, of Cape Fear Valley Hospice Care, and several neighbors. Special thanks and gratitude to Susan Champion and her family.
