Edith Lee Price

Mrs. Edith Lee Price, 90, of Wade died Tuesday morning, December 9th at her daughter’s home in Hope Mills. She was born January 9, 1924 in Cumberland County, daughter of the late J. Floyd Lee and Ada Strickland Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Earl Price, Sr. Mrs. Price was a member of Bluff Presbyterian Church in Wade. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 A.M. in Old Bluff Church Cemetery with Pastor Herbert Young officiating. She is survived by one son, Dr. Millard E. Price, Jr. and wife Betty Baker Price of Eastover, one daughter, Amanda Lee Price of Hope Mills, three sisters, Mildred Culbreth of Fayetteville, Edna Furr of Louisiana and Anna Evans of White Oak, four grandchildren, Michelle Lee McCormick and husband Michael Cannon of New Jersey, Erin Hamrick and husband Andy of Equador, Jonah Price of New York, NY and Julie Price of Atlanta, GA, and two great grandchildren, Lila Hamrick and Van Hamrick. The family will receive friends Friday, December 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
