I have so many wonderful memories about my aunt , who I always called Babe. She was so much fun!! I can still hear her laugh from the last time I saw her and every year when her awesome husband James would bring her to Decatur & Athens , Alabama for family reunions. I’m so happy that Babe & James we’re able to spend a couple of nights at our home the last time they were able to come. A more devoted couple I have never seen. She was my grandmother made over in so many ways, but especially in the way she prayed for every sister & brother and their family by name. I had a great opportunity to spend time with she & James and my cousin Ruth Helen Sims Worley when we were in Lake Wales , Florida several years ago when my uncle Malcolm Rigel passed away. Babe & James we’re having their prayers as they were in bed and I overheard them. What a wonderful memory!! This is exactly the way my mother and daddy ended their day. I’m sure momma probably did a lot of the mothering to babe growing up, since my mother was the next to the oldest. I want to tell James & Carlton and families that I know she has prayed many prayers for all of you and I know you will miss her. I’m sorry we could not make it there for the service, but I do plan to visit with James & Carlton sometime when the weather gets cooler. I’m happy that Babe is not suffering and is in complete peace now. I’m looking forward to heaven one day where so many of our wonderful extended Rigel are & will be. Remember that God is watching over you all and keeping you in his care, especially you, James. She would want you to keep on keeping on and being the awesome person that you are. Hope to see you and Carlton and family in a few weeks. Love you all, even so many that I have not met.God bless you all until we meet again.
