Born on October 6, 1964, in Manhattan, New York, Enrique lived a life marked by dedication to his country, deep love for his family, and an enduring passion for music and craftsmanship. A proud Nuyorican, Enrique embraced both his Puerto Rican heritage and his New York roots with pride and joy. His vibrant spirit was evident in everything he did—from the way he danced to salsa with family to the booming bass of his meticulously installed car stereo systems. Music was more than a pastime for him; it was a way of life. He found joy in customizing every vehicle he owned, ensuring each one was kept in immaculate condition inside and out. His attention to detail and love for high-quality sound systems made every ride an experience.
Enrique served honorably in the United States Air Force for 25 years during the Gulf War Era and peacetime service, retiring as a Master Sergeant. His final assignment was with the esteemed 75th Fighter Squadron at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina. Throughout his military career, Enrique exemplified commitment, discipline, and loyalty—values that carried over into every aspect of his life. To those who knew him best, Enrique was a strong, kind-hearted man who never wavered in his support for those he loved. He had an infectious sense of humor and a steadfast ability to keep his promises. As a father, he was loving and present—always striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of his children.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister Inabel (Lee) Boria; niece Jasmine Boria; first spouse Cristine Boria; daughters Ellysa Boria and Ashley Johnson; and only granddaughter Kamiah Day. Each of them carry forward pieces of Enrique’s legacy—his strength, laughter, passion for music, and unwavering devotion to family. Enrique's memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved him and through the rhythms of salsa that continue to echo in their hearts. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
