Florence Tesch

Florence Tesch, age 97, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born October 3, 1928, Florence will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life marked by quiet strength, steady devotion, and a gentle way of caring for others. Her kind-hearted spirit and generous nature were felt most clearly in the love she gave so freely to those around her, offered with grace and tenderness.

Florence was a devoted Army wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tesch. She is survived by her children, Lynn Henry (David), Donna Williams (Bobby), and Richard Tesch (Robin); five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A longtime member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church, Florence’s faithful presence reflected a life grounded in enduring values and sincere compassion. Beyond home and church, she found simple joy in watching sports of all kinds, especially in cheering for the NC State Wolfpack.

Visitation with Family & Friends will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1201 Hope Mills Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28304, on May 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Christus Victor Lutheran Church on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchison Rd., Spring Lake, North Carolina 28390, on May 27, 2026.
