To George's family, I am very sad to hear that George has passed away, I have known him since 1985. He spoke of his son and daughter all the time and I remember him calling his son Junebug. I had the pleasure of knowing his late sister and mother who were also always very kind to me. George always encouraged me to go to school and when I did he also continued to encourage me to stick to it, for that I am forever grateful. He is loved and missed by many.

I would like to offer my condolences to George's family at this sad time. I have had the great privilege of knowing him the last 33 years at Eaton, playing softball (best 2nd baseman ever) and golf over the years. He was a great person and someone that you were lucky if you could call him friend. I will miss his smile and unwavering friendship.
