Georgia lived with a quiet gentleness that was felt most in the steady ways she cared for others. Her kind heart and honest spirit shaped the life she built—one grounded in faith, devotion to family, and a sincere respect for doing what was right.
For more than 20 years, Georgia worked for Gilford Mills, where her reliability and straightforward integrity were evident in the way she approached each day. In 1966, she married Joe Faircloth, the love of her life. Together they raised two children, Angela and Randy, and created a home marked by warmth, consistency, and love.
Georgia found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures—fishing, going to the beach, and, most of all, spending time with her great-grandchildren, which she counted as her favorite pastime. She had attended Fayetteville Community Church, and she was a God-fearing woman who raised her family in church, leaving a legacy of faith and steadfast example.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Myrtie Tadlock, and by her brothers, Rocky Tadlock, Billy Tadlock, and Robert Tadlock.
Georgia is survived by her husband, Joe Wilbur Faircloth; her children, Angela Johnson and her husband, Steve of Fuquay Varina, NC, and Randy Faircloth and his wife, Deana of Fuquay Varina, NC; her sister, Daisy Clifton of Benson, NC; her brother, Charles Tadlock and his wife, Susan of Benson, NC; 6 grandchildren, Brittany Lassiter, Randy Faircloth Jr., Molly Johnson, Bobby Faircloth, James Faircloth, and Patrick Faircloth; and 3 great grandchildren, Kaiden, Rylee, and Willa; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
