Gerald was born on December 26, 1968 in Harnett County the son of the late Charles and Peggy Lee and grandson of the late Gerald and Elizabeth Jackson and Troy and Ruby Lee.
Scooter was an auto mechanic his entire life.
He loved going to the beach, and spending time with Brandon and his friend Billy.
Scooter always wanted to be a farmer, or mechanic. Becoming a master mechanic was a great lifetime accomplishment.
The most treasured time in his life was the birth of his son Brandon.
Brandon, Hunter, their mother Arlene and his Aunt Joan, and their friend Billy always brought out a big smile. Time with working on Brandon’s motorcycle was a special hobby. If there ever was a family man devoted Gerald Lee “Scooter” was top of the list.
Scooter loved watching Yellowstone, Bones, and Moonshiners. Simply sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch rocking relaxed him. Spending time with his dog JB gave him much joy, His favorite thing to do was working in the shop with Brandon.
He is survived by a son: Brandon Gerald Lee, of Dunn, NC; a step-son: Hunter Burley and wife Sarah, of Benson: their mother: Arlene Lee, of Dunn: a brother; Kevin Lee and wife Jennifer, niece Mckenzie, of Benson; his aunt: Joan Jackson, of Dunn, NC; and a host of extended family and friends.
At Gerald Franklin “Scooter” Lee’s request there are to be no services at this time.
