Gloria Mae Abbey

Gloria was born in New York to Lena Woods and Leroy Snow. She grew up in Ticonderoga, New York and moved here to Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2017.

Gloria was very family oriented, she loved spending time with her family and friends and looked forward to a phone call from her son, Timothy, every Sunday. Gloria found the lord, and was a proud member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Hope Mills, North Carolina. She enjoyed going to church, knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles, and watching movies with her favorite snacks; either popcorn, lindor white chocolate, reeses pieces, york peppermint patties or Pizza Palace. She had a love for animals and loved her parakeet, Birdie Sanders, and her yorkie, Spencer.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kim; and her brother, James. She is survived by her son, Timothy (Ricki); her daughter, Vickie-Marie Wortmann (Rick); her grandchildren, Chase, Lilli, Marshall, and Frankie; and her great grandchildren, Tj, Rosie, and Iris.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, at Harvest Baptist Church, 5504 McPhail Street, Hope Mills, North Carolina, 28348. A meal and fellowship are to follow.
