Dunn, NC Mrs. Grace Weeks Jackson, age 88 of Greenwood, S.C. formerly of Dunn died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, S.C. Mrs. Jackson was born June 20, 1926 in Cumberland County the daughter of the late Kennon Sanford & Ila Eugenia Bryant Weeks and is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William E. Jackson, Jr. and Grandson, Anthony Ronald Hix. She is also preceded in death by Brothers: Henry, Walter, Percy, Wendell & Shore Weeks and sisters: Eva Lou Weeks & Mayme Weeks Brantley. She retired from Carolina Telephone Co. with 40 years of service. She was a former member of Greenwood South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of the “Festival of Flower Art Show” in Greenwood, S.C. and a Volunteer at the Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, S.C. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Maxwell & Rev. Sally Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Surviving: Include 2 Daughters: Linda J. Morgan & (husband) A.C. of Linden, NC Jennie Lee J. Hix & (husband) Ronald of Greenwood, SC A Son: Willliam E. “Bill” Jackson, III & (wife) Denise of Rural Hall, NC Grandchildren: Christopher Smith & (wife) Kristi, Amanda Hix & Jon Albright Jillian H. McDonald & (husband) Josh & Joshua Hix Step-Grandchild: Alicia Morgan 5 Great Grandchildren The family will receive friends Friday evening October 10, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn and at other times at 910 North Orange Ave. in Dunn.
