Hazel Patterson Tew

She was born to the late Henry C. and Elsie Patterson on May 20, 1949.

Mrs. Tew was a dedicated wife, loving mother and grandmother, and friend to all that knew her.

She grew up in Fayetteville and later became the owner and operator of Tew’s Insurance Agency.

Mrs. Tew was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry C. Tew, Sr.; grandson, Nathan Tew; and sisters, Becky Deater and Betty Price.

Leaving to cherish her memories are children, Jerry C. Tew, Jr. and wife Angela, Alisa Tew Gomez and husband Pete, Daniel Tew and wife Felicia, and Crystal Tew Clark and husband James; grandchildren, Patrick Brown, Steven Tew, Jason Tew, Brandon Tew, Ryan Tew, Cody Clark, Juniper Clark, and Denise Tew; brothers, Arthur King and Robert Patterson; sister, Ruby Oliver; and her precious babies, Icarus, Molly, and Coco.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Reeves Funeral Home Chapel.

She will be laid to rest in Lafayette Memorial Park.
