Janie Pendleton McDaris

Janie graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1968, attended UNC Pembroke, and graduated from High Point University. She worked for many years with Textile Industry in High Point performing administrative responsibilities. She was a member of Green Street Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina for forty years and recently became a member of Southview Baptist in Hope Mills, North Carolina. She was an avid reader; she loved cats and cherished the beach, making many memories there.

Janie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don McDaris; her son, Ryan McDaris of Hope Mills, North Carolina; her brother, Gary Pendleton, and his wife Laura of Raleigh, North Carolina.

A Graveside Service for Janie will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at Hope Mills Cemetery, 4850 Legion Rd, Hope Mills, NC 28348. The family invites friends for a meal and fellowship after the Graveside Service at Southview Baptist Church, 4089 Elk Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348.
