Jerry Was a good man who loved his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhardt was his absolute favorite driver. He was generous and would give his last penny to help someone in need. He was also a hard worker, and he enjoyed tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Jerry was famous for his punctuality and has been known to pick his boss up to make sure the boss wasn't late.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Didway and Lavon Williams, and his sister, Linda Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Didway; his children, Angee Hatcher and Jerry Didway Jr.; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Knight and her husband DJ, Melissa Matlock, Jessie Hatcher, and Connor Didway; his great grandchildren, Arabella DiLullo, Adrian Matlock, and Jerry DiLullo; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation with family & friends for Jerry will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 9:30 AM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial with military honors will occur Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
