Jewel was born December 5, 1940 in Harnett County to the late Will and Ardella Weaver Hobbs.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 7-9 m at Reeves Funeral Home.
In addition to her parents Jewel was predeceased by her husband Eddie Paige.
Those left to mourn her passing are one daughter, Diane Barr; one son, Bryan Paige; one sister, Eunice Thompson; one brother, W. C. Hobbs; one grandson, Robert Doss; two great grandchildren, Logan Doss and Eli Doss.
