Joseph L. Allen Sr., 81, of Fayetteville passed peacefully, surrounded by family on February 20th 2021. Mr. Allen was born in Salem, New Jersey to the late James Albert Allen and Anna Basich Allen on October 15,1939.

Mr. Allen is survived by his son, Joseph L. Allen Jr. and wife Susan Porter Allen. He has numerous Nephews, Nieces and neighbors. Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife Marlyn Jordan Allen and his brothers , Robert Allen, Sonny Allen and Ronald Allen Sr,Sister Florence Todd Mr. Allen was very active in his community and church and loved to help people. He retired from Dupont. Visitation Friday 4 to 7 at Reeves Funeral Home Funeral service Saturday at 2pm at Reeves Funeral Home Burial at Hope Mills Cemetery.
