He was a husband, a father, a son, and a friend to all who knew him. Sean was an all or nothing, go big or go home type of person. He loved being around children and hearing their laughter. He had a natural talent for home construction and vinyl siding. He would often use those same skills, from the kindness of his heart, to help his friends and his own family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, J.L. and Mildred Burney, of Fayetteville, and his grandmother Mildred Long, of Hope Mills.
Sean is survived by his faithful and loving wife, Christy Burney; his two beautiful sons, Matthew and Noah Burney; his parents, Bill and Deborah Burney; two brothers, Donovan and Katina Burney, of Fayetteville, and John Burney, of Augusta, GA.; two nephews, Chase and Josh Burney; four nieces, Tori and Ryan Bell, Keindalyn and Callie Arnold; and many other family members to include several aunts, uncles, and cousins; also many, many, friends he cherished very much.
