Lillian Oneater Byrd Barefoot

Lillian Oneater Norris Barefoot age 85 of Cornerstone Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunn died October 12, 2015. She was born January 31, 1930 in Johnston County to the late Lillian Langdon Byrd and Dallas Byrd. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barefoot was preceded in death by her husband J. D. Barefoot; sons Terry Lee Norris, Donald Odell Norris and Johnny Odell Norris. Survivors include son Kenneth Ray Norris and wife Brenda of Clayton NC, daughter Deborrah Lynn Norris Addison and husband Ronald of Abingdon Va.; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She worked and retired as a weaver at Burlington Mills in Erwin NC with 20 years of service. Mrs. Barefoot was an advent member of Popes Chapel Church of Dunn before her illness. The family will receive friends from 10:30am ~ 12:00 noon, on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn with a graveside service at 1:30PM Wednesday October 14, 2015 in Devotional Gardens in Dunn with the Rev. Roy Johnson officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Cornerstone Nursing Center for taking such good care of their loved one.
