Linda Carol Benson

Mrs Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Henry York and Bonnie Mae Britt; her sister Kathy Dean. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert Benson; her children, Carol Lynn Dicker, Laura Ann Benson, Ginny Benson-Poche, Angela Marie Benson, Melinda Gay Benson, Naomi Benson-Barbour, Rebecca Lynn Benson, Joe Henry Benson; her siblings, Eula Bullard, Sharon Hess, Henry York Jr (Ann), Patricia Draughon; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs Linda loved deep sea fishing alongside her husband. She also loved and spent most of her time crocheting. When she wasn’t crocheting, she was spending time with family and traveling. Mrs Linda's family described her to be a very opinionated woman, but that is what everyone loved about her. She will be truly missed.

A visitation with family & friends for Linda will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial will occur Friday, September 20, 2024 at 3:30 PM at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, 4509 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
