Fayetteville – Linda Marie Brink, 67, went home to be with Her Lord and Savior September 9th, 2019. Born February 25th, 1952 in Allegheny county as the youngest of 4 children to James Harold Prinkey and Gladyce Lenore Prinkey (Shultz). Linda was known throughout her life as a devoted wife and mother, she cared passionately for God and her family. A truly genuine person, Linda always spoke from the heart. Her compassion for humanity can be compared to gliding on an eagle's wings. She proudly served in the U.S. Army. Her patriotism and love for her country shined throughout her lifetime as a deep respect for Bald Eagles and her enthusiasm in decorating her house. Ever the adventurer, she delighted in exploring new places. With a profound curiosity, she traveled the country, gaining enjoyment from her interactions with people of various cultures and backgrounds. One of her interests was crafting, particularly sewing and crocheting. She and her sister Carol loved exchanging their projects' progress and new ideas. Early in life, she earned an Associate’s degree from Monterey Peninsula College. In addition to being an Army veteran, she was also employed as a postal worker and worked alongside her husband for many years as a truck driver. Linda is survived by her husband Randy C. Brink of 48 years; two sons, Randy Brink Jr. and Craig Brink; grandchildren, Darien, Alex, Seth, Hunter, Daniel, Mika, Martina, C.J., Scarlett; great-grandchildren Chanel and Sage; siblings, John Prinkey, Carol (Craig) Powell, and Ross (Kay) Prinkey. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father. Services will be held Saturday September 14th, 2019 at 2 o’clock p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Normalville Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
