Marilyn Shull Fore

Marilyn was born in Neva, Tennessee on February 5, 1940 to Charles Robert and Celia Adalaine Shull.

Marilyn graduate Summa Cum Laude from Longwood University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science and Elementary Education. She then earned her Masters Degree from JMU. In 1978, she moved to Monterey, Virginia and taught at Highland County Public Schools for over 30 years.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers, Robert Shull, Ray Shull, and Tom Shull, and her sister, Dorothy Reece.

She is survived by her children, Janice Bragg and her husband, Paul, Kevin Fore and his wife, Lisa, and Kitty Lambert and her husband, Robert; her grandchildren, Justin Bragg, Emily Bragg, Matthew Fore and his wife, Harley, Jordan Fore, Jennifer Fore, Travis Lambert and his wife, Sierra, and Christopher Lambert and his wife, Rachel; 6 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary Jo Goff, Peggy Hines and her husband, Maurice, Myrtle Hall and her husband, James, and Greer Tibbs and her husband, Joseph.

One of her favorite chapters in the Bible was Psalm 121. She often quoted verses 1 and 2: "I will lift my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth."
