

Buddy enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and any type of racing. He loved to travel and enjoyed watching TV shows like westerns and The Andy Griffith Show.
Buddy proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963. He was a prison guard and a fireman. He was also the City of Fayetteville Chief Electrical Inspector for several years (Inspector for 22 years). He was the owner of Huggins Electric of Hope Mills, North Carolina.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, John and Daisy Huggins, and his sisters and brother, Juanita Johnson, Mary Autry, and John Huggins Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Huggins, his 3 children, Joey Huggins, Michael Huggins (Ann), And Mark Huggins (Stephanie). He is also survived by his stepchildren, Daniel "Buck" Garrison (Nicole), Jerome A. Garrison (Tina), Mary "Sissy" G. Simpson, Sherry G. Pope (Billy), Christina "Tina" G. Owens (Ray), 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Bandit.
A visitation with family & friends for Marion will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N. Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348, followed by a celebration of life with military honors at 2:00 PM.
