Mary Ellen Hooker

Mary was born in Youngstown, Ohio July 22, 1961. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis Edward and Willie Laurel Gaffney. Two of her siblings, Steve Gaffney and Susie Hile.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Alan Hooker of Lumber Bridge, NC; Her children Kasey Hooker (Patricia), Korey Hooker (Jasmine), and Kristian Hooker; Two siblings, Pam Anderson of Hope Mills, NC, and John Gaffney of St. Pauls, NC; Her grandchildren Kameron, Adalynn, Elaina, and Stormi Hooker. A host of nieces and nephews, friends and family.

Mary was outgoing and loved being around people. She liked to spend her days being on the beach or tending to her garden. But her favorite hobby of all was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Those that knew Mary would say she had a very loving and friendly soul and will be missed tremendously.

A memorial service for Mary will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348.
