She was born October 28, 1933 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late Arter and Mary Jackson.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Reeves Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Adams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Johnson and husband Parrish, Debbie Rice and husband Richard and Jean Appleby and husband Mark; one brother Leonard Jackson; one sister, Velma Inman; seven grandchildren, Michael Hodges, Christy Hodges, Asheley Jestis, Stephanie Bell, Stacy Riddle, Richard Rice and Sarah Appleby and six great grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation at Alzfdn.org in memory of Mary Jackson.
