Paula Patricia Edens

Dunn, NC Paula Patricia Edens, age 63, of Dunn died Saturday, June 11 , 2016 at her residence in Dunn. Paula was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina on January 3, 1953 the daughter of the late Everette Paul Edens and Marjorie McLeod Edens, and is also preceded in death by her brother, George Edens. Paula, prior to retiring, assured many students and adults were cared for through her career as a food services specialist with Campbell University in Buies Creek. She gained joy through spending time with all her beloved family members at gatherings and special occasions. Her loving and giving spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends. A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 am, in Devotional Gardens Memorial Park, Fairground Rd. with her son Shawn Turlington officiating.. She is survived by: Son: Michael Shawn Turlington and wife Holly of Raeford, NC Grandchildren: Caitlin Turlington, Brandon Turlington, Devan Turlington and Brooke Turlington 2 Sisters: Priscilla McLamb and husband David Earl of Stedman, NC, and Phyllis Edens of Dunn, NC. 3 Brothers: Aubrey D. Jones of Dunn, Terry Simmons and wife Belinda of Dunn and Warren Errol Edens of Butner, NC The Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, in Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home.
