Peggy was born January 21, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Dan and Mae Duncan Pittman.
Along with her parents Peggy was predeceased in death by a daughter, Donna Cothran Cantrell and a number or brothers and sisters.
A funeral service to honor her life will be conducted Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Stoney Point Baptist Church with Pastor Duncan Edge officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in the church sanctuary.
Among those mourning her loss are husband and loving companion of 61 years Andy Cothran; a son , Anthony Cothran and his wife Amy; a brother Jimmy Pittman; a sister Janice Smith; grandchildren Jonathan and Ashley Cothran and Nicole Strickland and one great grandchild.
