She was born on May 3, 1964 in Harnett County, NC to the late Wilbert Lee Jones and Margie Marie Jenkins Jones.
She was a woman with heart of gold. A headstrong and determined person. Loved helping others always put the needs of others before her own. She had a great love for animals.
Phyllis was very active in the church, loved to sing. She loved all types of music.
Her husband, Arnold Ray Jackson, of Erwin, NC, survives her: two sons, John Harper Jones, of Goldsboro, NC and Allen Ray Jackson, of Dunn, NC; one brother, Gerald Jones, of Dunn, NC; and a host of friends.
