

Priscilla Vannette McKoy Jones was born on October 29, 1963, in Fayetteville to Dora Mae McKoy and Chester Lee Jones. She was raised in Spring Lake, North Carolina and was the second of eight children.
Priscilla pursued higher education with determination and excellence, earning both her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Psychology. She also proudly served her country in the United States Army, graduating as a ranked officer.
For more than 20 years, Priscilla dedicated her professional life to serving others through the Cumberland County Mental Health System as a Multisystemic Therapist. Her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering commitment positively impacted countless individuals and families throughout her community.
A true pillar of strength and service, Priscilla leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, faith, and love. She was known for her infectious energy, caring heart, and ability to make everyone she encountered feel seen, valued, and supported. Her devout faith was evident in the way she lived and loved others daily.
At an early age, Priscilla joined and was baptized at her family church, Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She faithfully served in numerous roles throughout the years, including Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, Treasurer, Pastor Aide President, and Trustee Board Member.
Priscilla enjoyed traveling, passionately supporting the Dallas Cowboys, spoiling her grandchildren, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She took great pride in always being present for the people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dora Mae McKoy; her father, Chester Lee Jones; her brothers, Rochester Jones, and Reginald Jones; her nephew, Dominique Jones; her niece Racquel McKoy and her brother-in-law, Thomas Guy.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters: Ronae Wilson, Ronasha Wilson, Cinor (Loren) Jones, and Ronette Wilson.
She was a cherished grandmother to Jayden Melvin, Noah Brooks, Quinn Jones, Rya Alexander, Ahmel Jones, and Roman Jones.
She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Patricia Monroe of Spring Lake, NC; Claudia (Demond) Washington of Augusta, GA; Cynthia (Joseph) Rose of Spring Lake, NC; Pearl Ferris of Florida; Jason Jones of Hephzibah, GA; and Terrance (Keisha) Jones of Spring Lake, NC, along with a host of adored nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A visitation with family and friends will be held at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters, 10225 Fayetteville Road, Raeford, North Carolina 28376, on May 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at the same location on May 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, 1857 N. Bragg Blvd. Spring Lake, NC 28390.
