My Buddy! Bob. It’s been 2 long years since you went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ!
We all know you are fine in HIS Kingdom.
But, we miss you all the same…
Till we meet again my Friend, Rest Easy.

I had the privilege of meeting Bob in 2001, and I'm proud to say that he was my friend. He was kind, generous, friendly, dependable, respectful, and just an all-around nice person. He was always willing to help anybody who was in need. When I needed a place to live, he helped me find one. He hired me a few times at the Phoenix lodge painting and cleaning. A few different times over the years when I had car trouble, he helped me then too. He taught me how to build steps for my back door. He killed a hornet nest at my house once because I was allergic, and even though he got stung he didn't complain. There were so many things that he helped me and my family with over the years. After my father passed away he became like a dad to me. We had some great conversations. He always had such great advice. He had a great attitude, and outlook on life. He made the world a brighter place. He will truly be missed.

Mr.Bob,
I just can’t even put into words what you mean to me. You became an immediate father figure to me when my Daddy passed away & I’ll always be grateful for that. You were a man of many words, there will never be another like you. I’m glad we were able to travel & take our trips together. I love you & will miss you terribly. Don’t worry about “Ma”, Jory & I will do our very best to look out for her. 

BOB YOU WILL BE MISSED.  THANKS FOR BEING THERE FOR ME AND LISTENING. GOD SPEED MY FRIEND 

Dad I am going to miss you. I remember the day you married Mom. I bought you a coffee cup with grandpa on it, letting you know that we were happy you were now part of our family. You kept it all these years. I love you and will never forget how big a part of my life you were.


I remember when I first met bob and he told me that Duncan didn’t deserve me because I was so pretty. And ever since then i never let Duncan out live that. And every time I saw bob he made me give him a hug, and he always told me that if I needed him just to tell him. I also miss his jokes and him talking about how he needs Duncan to sell him his truck. I miss you bob

The most kind hearted and generous man I know. Your personality would light up the dark universe and make everyone around you smile. Alway willing to help someone out . We will see each other again one day and be sharing a drink or two. 
Words can't explain the joy and love we shared and the warmth you filled our hearts. 
I know you are watching over us and we will always hold you tight in our hearts. 
Best time was your recent trip helping us with the deck and cooking together. 
Our hearts to  Aunt Cora during this difficult time. We will all be together again soon.

Bob was my brother in law and living in Pennsylvania we were not able to connect very often.  However, it was always such a pleasant visit with Bob and my sister Cora.  He had a beaming personality and a smile that never stopped.  What I remember most was his stories and he had lots of them about the deals he was always making, whether food, alcohol, vehicles...you name it!!  Even my dogs would get excited because he would always take time to play with them.  Their last visit just a short time ago, he had received bad news from the doctors but it never seemed to phase him and short as it was his spirits were high.  All my love to my sister as this will be a difficult transition.  Love You Cora...

Bob was critical to me getting into Freemasonry and the Shriners, as he was one of the first people I ever spoke to about my interests in either.  I will miss him greatly, as no matter how much my work schedule messed up my ability to get to the meetings consistently he always waved at me when I showed up to see how things were going. I'd not know nearly as many of the people I do today without him.

Pops made a huge difference in my life. Stepped up as a father figure without obligation but with love. He will never be forgotten but always remembered with love and missed very much. He always rose to the occasion to help the community and those in need. They say family isn't your blood but who you cook for. I think that says a lot and so true. He was a passionate man and respected by his colleagues and friends. He may not have been my biological father, but more importantly he was my DAD, he was my POPS and I was his KID!

I’ve known Bob Nunes almost 3 yrs. He & his wife Cora always made me & my family feel welcome.  As a neighbor, he was 2nd to none!  Always available with a helping hand. He especially took to my soon to be 17 yr old granddaughter, Gabrielle. Especially after he found out she wants a military career, like her Granpa. He employed her & oversaw her numerous job details! Teaching & patient. He was a mentor! I enjoyed our neighborly talks across our yard posts. And o boy, did he ever love my dog DeLo! He carried treats in his truck for him. Always bringing DeLo a big dog bone! He had become a very loved & respected friend. His knowledge on so many different issues was amazing! He knew more people than the mayor & had an enormous capacity for conversion! My respect for this man is enormous! I grew close to him & his Cora, in a healthy loving way! He will SURELY be missed by one Wayne Feeney & family!
