Robert retired after 30 years of dedicated service with the Yonkers Public School System. Throughout his life, he was known for a steady generosity, a kind-hearted presence, and a thoughtful way of showing up for others—qualities that left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him.
Robert loved hunting and fishing, and he also enjoyed travelling—pursuits that reflected a quiet appreciation for both the outdoors and the wider world beyond it.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Patricia Young, as well as his sister Ruthann. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Young and her sons, Scott Stefanik, Michael Stefanik, and Kyle Stefanik; his siblings, Thomas Young, Linda Kistulniec, Pat Caragine, and Kathy Young; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He will also be very dearly missed by his Bobo Brothers.
