Roxann Bonnie Culbreath

Roxann Bonnie Culbreath, 45, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2025. Born on May 20, 1980, Roxann grew up with a heart as big as her smile and a grit that carried her through life’s toughest battles. She had a remarkable way of making even the hardest days bearable for those around her—with her humor, resilience, and unwavering love.

Roxann was a wife, a fiercely loving mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of over 20 years, Neil Culbreath; her beloved children, Lorenzo and Marissa, who were the center of her world; and her stepchildren, Chris, Nyquilla, Jacob, and Hazel whom she loved and cared for deeply.Her greatest joy was her children.

She also leaves behind her mother, Caroline Gray her husband Marcus; Her father, George Zitzelberger and his wife Patti, her brothers, Jason Zitzelberger and his wife Debra, and Joseph “Joey” Zitzelberger and his wife Kelli, and her adored nieces, Hannah and Kaylin Zitzelberger and many many others.

Roxann was preceded in death by her adoring mother in law Sandra Green, and her beloved grandparents, George and Florence Zitzelberger—her “Nannie and Papa”—whose memory she held close to her heart throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her kind and giving spirit, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Roxann’s life was not without struggle. Her story is one of both joy and sorrow, laughter and pain—but above all, love. Roxann will be remembered not only for the love she gave, but for the strength she showed, the fights she fought, and the people she lifted up along the way. Her family and friends will carry her memory forward with deep gratitude for every moment shared.

A visitation for Roxann will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
