Sharon was born on February 19, 1968, in Harnett County, NC.
Loved by all, Sharon was always happy and full of life. Always seeing the good in someone, she never had a negative or harsh word to say about anyone.
October was her favorite month because of her passion for scary movies, but Christmas was her favorite holiday. Phyllis, her adopted sister in her heart, gave “Goose” an artificial Christmas tree and whenever she was in her room the tree had to be on.
Going home with Phyllis were her happiest times. “Goose’s” favorite restaurant was McDonalds and every time they passed one they had to stop.
“Goose” was always happy to see her family. The relationship between her and her mother was extremely special and for 56 years they were each other's best friend.
Her father Rufus Jackson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her mother, Sylvia Ann Tew Guin, and stepfather, Marshall Wayne Guin, both of Dunn, NC; a brother, Timmy Jackson, of Clinton, NC; a very special uncle, Ronnie “Ron” Tart, and wife, Judy, of Erwin, NC; and her adopted sister, Phyllis Hudson, of Erwin, NC.
Several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of extended family and friends also survive her.
In her 56 years of life, “Goose” touched the lives of so many and they will carry on her memory.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Pineland Cemetery, in Dunn, NC with the Rev. Jerome Pope officiating.
