Sharon Lynn Johnson

Sharon was born in Germany to the late James Hoyle and Geraldine McCorquadale Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her brother James Hoyle Johnson, Jr (Jimmy).

Sharon graduated from high school in 1973 and went on to further her education and got a degree in Registered Nursing. She began her nursing career at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC and continued after leaving Ashvellie, NC at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. She worked for 42 years, working in the neo natal nursing unit. She loved taking care of those precious little babies.

She leaves to cherish her memory special friends, Deborah and Pat Hall; niece, Jessica Hall Masters and husband Jonathan Lee Masters; nephew, Aaron C. Hall and wife Kasey Hope Hall; four grand-nieces, Gracyn Masters, Kyleigh Hall, Paisley Hall and Lily Masters; one grandnephew, Garrison Masters; and a host of special cousins. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 4, 2025 at Baptist Chapel Church.
