Walburga was very popular in the Fayetteville area as a very skilled seamstress, and she designed competition gowns for pageants, wedding gowns, and cheerleading outfits for Fayetteville State University and various organizations throughout the county.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. CeSea Lawson (Henry Aspinwall); her son Clifford J. Haaf; her granddaughter, Megan Nettles-Allman; her grandson, Sean Smith; and a great-grandson, Levi Wyatt Nettles-Allman.
A graveside service for Walburga will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, 2881 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
