The loss of a friend has to be extremely hard. The loss of anyone that we love is hard. Can you imagine how God felt when he lost his only begotten son? He must have been pained deeply. Yet he loved us so much that he gave his only begotten son for us. (John 3:16) By this love we know that he did not want us to have a life filled with pain, mourning, death, and outcry. Won't we be happy when we can welcome back Wendy when she is in perfect health as is promised in the resurrection hope held our by Jesus Christ at John 11:25 where he says I am the resurrection and the life.. Just think, no more sick loved ones and death will be no more? (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:1-4) This is my hope for you. May you have comfort from the scriptures and the memories of a happier time.
