Wilma was born December 13, 1937 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to the late Woodrow and Dewel Richerson. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Mercer; sister, Doris Kelly and brother Keith Richerson and granddaughter Kimberly Mercer.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 1 pm at Lumber Bridge Baptist Church in Lumber Bridge conducted by Rev. Gerald Tew. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the church from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Among those to remember the past and mourn her passing include, Steve Mercer and wife Nellie of Lumber Bridge and Gary Mercer and wife Missy of Fayetteville; sisters, Midge Bain and Peggy Parson; grandchildren, Ashleigh Mercer and Stephanie Mercer and Jonathan Mercer.
