He was born June 26, 1931 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to the late Norman “Terry” & Matilda “Dorethy” Mize. Albert was a 37 year U.S. Army veteran retiring at the rank of Command Sergeant Major.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Edwina “Tony” (McMorris) Mize and brother, Royce Mize.
Survivors include his daughters, Brelinda Ann Barlow (Charles), Kathy Blakeney (Gregg) and stepdaughter Leslie Clarke (Jim); 9 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; and a special friend and caregiver, Kevin Jones.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
