

Aleta Winston, 88 of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 25, 1935 in Hot Springs to the late J. Ernest and Lura Weston Milholen and as a believer in Jesus Christ is now a resident of Heaven!
Aleta was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She was sure to give God the glory in every situation. She was a proud member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist Church of North Little Rock since 1974. She was known for her flower gardens, arts & crafts, and was a 4H leader for many years. She loved using her God given talents in ceramics, painting, sewing, and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Marcil Abernathy (Issac) and Marie Pittman (Bill).
Cherishing her memory are her husband of 71 years, James Winston; three children, Eldon Winston (Ann), Tim Winston (Laura), and Annette Walters (Benny); two brothers, Jim Milholen (KK) and Rick Milholen (Sandy); ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, June 20th, 2024 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.
A celebration of Mrs. Winston’s life will be held 10:00 AM, Friday morning also at Gross Funeral Home with Elders James Isaacs and Gary Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Peak Cemetery.
