Alice later entered the convent and taught Catholic school for 16 years. She rightfully plead her case to Rome and left the convent, after which she went on to teach in the public schools. She met and married James Craft; they were married 38 wonderful years.
They both took an early retirement and relocated to Hot Springs in 1980. Jim and Alice loved to travel together. They truly had 35 wonderful retired years together.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at St John’s Catholic Church with Father West officiating.
