Alvin loved his family immensely, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening (he had a soft spot for bamboo in particular) and target shooting. Before beginning his life work as a mechanical engineer, he proudly served in the United States Airforce.
Alvin spent 39 beautiful years married to his best friend and companion, Maryellen. They were active and devoted members of First United Methodist Church until their health would no longer allow it.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maryellen; son, John Morden (Sue); step-sons, Gary Pritsch (Lisa), James Pritsch, Ron Pritsch (Linda); six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Meeting him in Heaven are his parents and also his siblings, Ruby Speer, Ruth Darnell, Mary Reque, John Morden, Roy Morden and Susan Taylor.
