My dear baby sister, Angela K. Freeman, has left us to carry-on without her. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas Lee Freeman. The hole he left in her could never be filled. She was also preceded in death by our parents, John and Kate Beatty, sisters Brenda S. Haney and Pamela M. Beatty as well as her step-son John Freeman. She is survived by her sister Rachel Beatty of Tulsa, OK and in the cherished memories of many relatives and friends.
Angie grew up in Springfield, MO. She moved to the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area in her early twenties where she met and married Tom. She was the office manager and managing partner’s secretary for the big-8 accounting firm, Arthur Young, for several years until they decided to move to Hot Springs for a quieter life on Lake Hamilton where Tom spent so much of his youth and that he loved so much. She grew to love Hot Springs as much as he did especially his lifelong friends which became so dear to her too. Also while living in Hot Springs, she commuted to college and got a B.S. in business.
She went on to carve her own path and create many new dear friends while working for several insurance agents in Hot Springs. I think it’s safe to say Angie had a zest for life, was always ready for laughs, never met a stranger, was reliable and an asset wherever she was whether at work or in her personal life. She will be missed by so many….
A celebration of Angela's life will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Gross Funeral Home, 120 Wrights St, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
