Betty was born in Poyen, Arkansas. She married Roger and moved to Des Moines, Iowa where they spent the next 30 years raising their family and operating an equipment rental business. Eventually, Betty returned home to Arkansas to escape the cold Iowa winters and be closer to her sister. She and daughter Lori purchased a local ladies clothing store and built a legacy of providing the best in fashion for the women of Hot Springs.
Betty loved quilting, gardening, trips to the beach, and her pets. She was devoted to her family and her home on the lake was the center of many wonderful family gatherings, celebrations and holiday parties. Our family will greatly miss our Gran, but we know she has found joy in heaven.
