Mr. Bill Jones Jr.

Bill Jones Jr., 59, of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was born October 31, 1954 to Levi Jones Sr. and Jimmie L. Tall Jones in Arkadelphia, AR. Bill graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1973 and received his Associates Degree from Southwestern Tech in 1975. The same year he joined the Marines and as served in the Persian Gulf War, he retired from the Marines in 1995, with the rank of Master Sergeant. Bill worked for 17 years as the Food Service Manager at the Department of Corrections in Benton, AR. Bill enjoyed deer hunting and fishing on Lake DeGray . He is predeceased by his parents, Levi and Jimmie Jones. Those still cherishing his memory are his loving wife, Glenda, children, William Jones of El Paso, TX, Jimmy Jones of Jacksonville, NC, Chade` Jones of New York, NY and Tiffany Wright (Gerry) of Fort Mills, SC, 11 grandchildren, siblings, Rogie (Lynda) Jones, Kenneth Jones, Levi Jones Jr., Simuel (Lunder) Jones all of Hot Springs, 5 sister-in-laws, 2 brother-in-laws, father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edd L. Williams and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at Gross Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM.
