Carol Dina Kleinman

Carol Dina Kleinman, age 79, passed away on February 6, 2024 following a brief illness.

Carol was born in Brooklyn, New York, but has lived in Florida, California, Connecticut and Texas before settling in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2006.

She started and ran a successful lighting business in the DFW area for over 25 years, pioneering many practices still used today in construction. Arguably, her favorite job was being a blackjack dealer where she was known amongst many to have the loosest table and funniest jokes, making her very popular. Later in life, she was blessed enough to find her soulmate in Rabbi Sheldon Kleinman. Meeting online, it was a leap of faith at the time, but it was a perfect match, which lasted until the end.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Max and Marcia Prushansky and her younger sister, Alyce Brand.

She is survived by her husband, Rabbi Kleinman, as well her children Andrea Sullivan (Colin), Steven Marx (Kim), grandchildren Molly & Patrick Sullivan, Hannah & Abby Marx.

She will be laid to rest with her parents in Dallas and her family and friends will celebrate her life and memory in Texas.
