Carolyn Jean Kirby, 72, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023.
She was born November 19, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James S. & Sylvia Jane (Davis) Kirby. Carolyn’s career in banking began at the age of 17 and did not end until she was 70. She retired as a computer programmer with FIS Financial. Her true passions were food and pets. She was a “foodie” and enjoyed unique restaurants and food. She had many pets through her life and in later years made herself available to pet-sit many dogs and cats. All who knew her loved Carolyn.
Her siblings Melba Whittaker, Ellen Wilborn (Jay) and James S. Kirby, III, survive her.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm,Thursday at Gross Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Friday, January 20, 2023 at Crystal Hill Cemetery, 16424 Lawson Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, with her brother-in-law, Jay Wilborn officiating.
