Pastor Clytee Harness went to be with the Lord on March 27th in New Port Richey, Florida. He served as pastor of Grand Avenue Baptist Church from 1978-1990 before moving to Florida. He retired from pastoral duties in 2010 while serving at First Baptist Church of Elfers, Florida. Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, June May Harness, son Pastor Steven (Jennifer) Harness, daughter Krissi (Peter) Castor, brother Lanny (Nena) Harness, sister-in-law Lisa Harness, six grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Clytee was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, his two brothers, and his son Calvin Harness. Visitation will be at Grand Avenue Baptist on Saturday, April 11th, 1 pm, with funeral to follow at 2 pm. Burial will be at Morning Star Cemetery. Arrangements by Gross Funeral Home.
